  Professor Baguley speaking on Tinnitus

In this Inaugural Public Lecture, attended by members of the public, students and staff, Professor David Baguley discussed perspectives on tinnitus (the sensation of sound when there is no external source) in the past, in the present day, and future possibilities. He reflected on why tinnitus can be such a problem, treatments that are presently available, and on what is under development. His particular research theme is tinnitus and hearing loss associated with certain chemotherapy treatments for cancer, and David introduced this area, mapping out the planned trajectory of the research that is needed. This was followed by a Q&A with the audience. To find out more about David’s research, visit https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/medicine/about/clinicalneuroscience/people/david.baguley
